Forecasters are warning of potentially severe storms with heavy rain and flooding through Saturday. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Forecasters say the primary threats are winds up to 60 miles-an-hour and flash flooding.

NWS Paducah

The area is under a Flood Watch through Saturday.

One to two inches of rain is likely but some storms may sit or repeat over the same areas, dropping two to three times that amount.

The weather service urges everyone to be alert for possible flood warnings and those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action.
