Authorities have released the names of two people found dead inside a Warrick County home. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The coroner’s office identified the pair as Aileen Wells and David Wells of Newburgh.
The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a welfare check at the home on Hannah Court, near Oak Grove Road, Monday night.
They found the Wells deceased inside the residence.
Autopsies were scheduled Wednesday.
Investigators said they were NOT looking for any suspects and there was no threat to the public.
It’s not clear what led to the deaths but authorities are not ruling out a double suicide or murder-suicide.
An investigation continues.
