The Gibson County Sheriff's Office says Alberto Lopez, 26, of Evansville was clocked riding a motorcycle at 103 MPH on I-69

Authorities have arrested another triple-digit speeder on I-69, this time involving a motorcycle. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy stopped a motorcycle near the 30-mile marker early Saturday.

The rider, 26-year-old Alberto Lopez of Evansville, was accused of traveling 103 miles an hour.

The deputy took Lopez into custody and to the Gibson County Detention Center.

He faces charges of Reckless Driving and Possession of a Device or Substance Used to Interfere with a Screening Test.

Over the years, officers have stopped many drivers in excess of 100 miles an hour on the interstate, where the top speed limit is 70 miles an hour.
