Authorities say Cynthia Weinzapfel of Evansville is accused of starting a house fire in May that injured one person

An Evansville woman has been arrested, accused of starting a house fire that injured a person last month. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Evansville Fire Department says an investigation led to the arrest of 37-year-old Cynthia Weinzapfel.

She’s accused of starting the May 17th blaze in the 11-hundred block of N. Garvin St.

The EFD says investigators determined the fire had been intentionally set.

Weinzapfel has been charged with arson resulting in bodily injury, a Level 3 felony, and arson of a dwelling, a Level 6 felony.

She’s being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail on a 10-thousand dollar bond.
