We’ll be keeping an eye to the sky for potentially severe storms Wednesday night. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Wednesday afternoon and evening, with the risk of severe storms to follow.
Forecasters say scattered storms are expected to spread across the Tri-State between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m.
They say damaging winds, tornadoes, and large hail will all be possible, along with locally heavy rain and frequent lightning.
The weather service has placed the immediate Evansville area at a Level 2 – or slight – risk of severe weather.
The risk is Level 1 – or marginal – for western Kentucky.
Rain chances decline on Thursday, with sunny and cooler weather expected on Friday, Juneteenth.
