NWS: Storm Front Should Bring Relief

NWS Paducah

Thunderstorms are expected to usher in slightly cooler, less humid air to the Evansville area

Forecasters say thunderstorms should bring some relief from the heat and humidity Thursday night. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The National Weather Service says a cold front is forecast to move through the Tri-State, bringing with it showers and thunderstorms.

Forecasters have put the Evansville area at a Level One – or marginal -- risk of severe storms Thursday night.

The front is expected to keep high temperatures below 90 Friday and Saturday, with showers and storms returning to the area Saturday night.

Milder temperatures are in the forecast early next week.
