Forecasters are warning of potential flooding in the Tri-State though Monday night. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch that continues until 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Forecasters say several rounds of thunderstorms may produce heavy rain and flash flooding, with three-to-four inches of rain possible.
The agency also says excessive runoff could boost river levels, creeks, streams, and cause flooding in other low-lying areas.
Forecasters urge all of us to monitor the weather and be ready to take action if the weather service issues a Flash Flood Warning.
