The victim of a fatal crash in Vanderburgh County has been identified as an elderly Indiana woman. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The County Coroner’s Office says 83-year-old Trudy Judge of Peru, Indiana died in Wednesday's crash on I-69 near Boonville-New Harmony Road.
The Sheriff’s Office says a tractor-trailer collided with Judge’s car in the northbound lanes and she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured and submitted to a chemical blood test.
Investigators said there was no indication that alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
The collision and investigation forced authorities to shut down the northbound lanes of I-69 for several hours Wednesday morning.
