It happened at about 5 a.m. on the interstate, just north of Boonville-New Harmony Road.
The Sheriff’s Office says a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle — both traveling northbound — collided.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced deceased at the crash scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured and submitted to a chemical blood test.
Investigators say there was no indication that
alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision.
