A woman is dead and several people are injured after a head-on crash in western Kentucky. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office says a vehicle driven by Deborah Townsell on State Road 1069 crossed the centerline and collided with a vehicle driven by Christopher Cook on Sunday.
A passenger in Townsell’s car, Lucian Townsell, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hopkins County Coroner.
The sheriff’s office says Deborah Townsell was severely injured and transferred to an out of state hospital for treatment.
Christopher Cook and his six passengers were all taken to hospitals with serious injuries.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash.
