The victim of a fatal crash in western Kentucky has been identified as an Evansville man. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The Hopkins County Coroner’s Office says 42-year-old Nathan A. Payne died in Wednesday’s single-vehicle crash.
It happened on Grapevine Road near Madisonville.
The sheriff’s office says the minivan Payne was driving ran off the road and hit a tree, causing the vehicle to catch fire.
Payne was the only person in the van and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An investigation continues.
