Two Arrested After West Side Gunfight

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office says Michael Lee Dortch, 20, and Krisshaun Saunders, 26, exchanged gunfire on an apartment parking lot

Two men have been arrested after gunfire erupted outside a West Side apartment complex. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

It happened early Wednesday morning on the parking lot of Golden Tower Apartments off Red Bank Road.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says an argument between two men escalated and four shots were fired.

There was no word of injuries.

Deputies arrested 20-year-old Michael Lee Dortch of Evansville at the scene.

Investigators later found a vehicle believed to have been connected to the shooting and arrested 26-year-old Krisshaun Saunders.

Dortch and Saunders both face charges of Attempted Murder and Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon.

Dortch is also charged with Criminal Mischief and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.
