Coroner Identifies Man Found Dead on Lodge

The Vanderburgh County Coroner says William McLean, 77, was found dead in a home on Lodge Ave.; Evansville police arrested a suspect, Kelly Casey, 46

Authorities have released the name of a man found dead on Evansville’s Southeast Side. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office says 77-year-old William McLean was found deceased at a home in the 2500 block of Lodge Avenue on Wednesday.

A caller had reported a female was being assaulted and that an elderly man was then unresponsive.

The EPD says officers arrived and found McLean’s body.

Police questioned two people and arrested 46-year-old Kelly Casey.

She faces a preliminary charge of murder.
