TaylorMade Golf has announced a multi-million-dollar expansion in Vanderburgh County. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The company says it will build a new distribution center on Petersburg Road, west of Highway 41.
TaylorMade’s expansion is expected to create up to 50 full-time jobs and retain about 150 existing jobs by the end of 2031.
The California-based golf equipment company currently operates locally at 4400 Garrison Ave.
The Evansville Regional Economic Partnership says TaylorMade’s decision to expand locally followed a competitive, multi-state evaluation.
E-Rep says it worked alongside the Indiana Economic Development Corporation to support the project and “continue building momentum for the Evansville Region.”
TaylorMade will receive more than a half-million dollars in tax credits if it keeps its investment and hiring promises.
