Indiana State Police say a motorcyclist reached 135 MPH on U.S. 41 in Gibson County before crashing; man suffered serious injuries

A motorcyclist is in the hospital after allegedly driving 135 miles an hour on Highway 41 before crashing. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:

Indiana State Police say a trooper clocked the motorcycle at that extremely high speed Thursday night in Gibson County.

The ISP says the trooper tried to stop the motorcyclist but he continued southbound.

The motorcyclist lost control and crashed after turning onto Gibson County Road 175 West.

The ISP says he was taken to Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville with serious injuries.

The motorcyclist was identified as a 24-year-old Princeton man.

Police say they will release his name when charges are filed.
