ID Released after Fatal Hit and Run

The Daviess County, KY, Coroner's Office has identified the victim of Wednesday's hit and run in Owensboro as Amanda Foster, 39

Authorities have released the identity of the woman who died in a hit and run crash in Owensboro. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Daviess County Coroner says 39-year-old Amanda Foster died after being hit by a vehicle on Frederica Street near Fulton Drive Wednesday night.

Foster was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Another person was struck and critically injured.

Officers arrested 21-year-old Anderson Xol (zohl) of Owensboro following the crash.

The OPD says a vehicle driven by Xol hit the two pedestrians and left the scene before returning.

He faces charges of Murder, Assault, drunken driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving without a license.
