Evansville Police have arrested two people in connection with drug dealing at a housing authority apartment building. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The arrests follow an investigation into alleged narcotics dealing at Schnute Apartments on W. Franklin St.
The EPD says officers made several arrests for possession of methamphetamine involving individuals leaving the property.
A judge granted a search warrant for an apartment within the complex and officers arrested 64-year-old Juan Smith.
He faces charges including Dealing Meth, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon.
Police say officers also arrested 38-year-ol Kayla Stitt on a charge of Visiting a Common Nuisance and for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
