The Evansville area received less than an inch of new snow Thursday night as more Artic air pushed into the Tri-State

Mother Nature has delivered a little more snow and another Artic blast to the Evansville area. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The city received less than an inch of new snow but it was enough to put new slippery spots on roadways especially on less-traveled roads and side streets.

A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued for the entire region.

The National Weather Service warns of dangerously cold wind chills of zero to 10-below tonight through Saturday morning.

Forecasters say they’re also following the risk of a wintry mix with light snow or ice accumulations Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning.

For now, they say confidence is low regarding the precipitation type and amounts, with anything from light rain to a more impactful wintry mix still on the table.
