Authorities are investigating the death of a woman found in a parked vehicle on Evansville’s North Side. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office says 54-year-old Juanita Cannon was found deceased in a vehicle Sunday evening at 2530 N. U.S. Highway 41.
That’s outside the Evansville Inn and Suites.
At the time Cannon was found, more than a foot of snow had fallen, the temperature was 12 degrees, and the wind chill was in single digits.
There’s no word yet on the manner or cause of Cannon’s death.
Chief Deputy Coroner Amy Miller says an autopsy has been conducted and results are pending.
The Evansville Police Department is investigating but there’s no word on whether foul play was involved.
