A man is dead and another is in custody after a shooting in Henderson. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Henderson Police say detectives arrested 20-year-old Harold "J.C." Farmer for the shooting death of 73-year-old James Culver.
The HPD says it happened inside a home in the 1100 block of Powell Street on Wednesday during a "disturbance" involving five family members.
Responding officers found Culver wounded and despite immediate life-saving efforts by officers and EMTs, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers arrested Farmer at the home.
Police say the four other family members in the house were unharmed and were taken to police headquarters to be interviewed.
An investigation continues.
Update: Authorities say Farmer has been charged with Murder.
