The goal of House Bill 12-50 is to better inform law enforcement when a violent felon is released from prison.
35-year-old Jamerus Parkman is accused of killing Susan Haynie inside her East Side home last August after he was released.
Vann Park Neighbors have established a change.org petition to gather signatures in support of the bill.
