A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash on Evansville’s North Side. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
It happened at about 5:40 Friday morning when an SUV crashed on the Pigeon Creek levee off Stringtown Road.
Reports from the scene indicate the vehicle rolled and the driver was ejected.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The coroner’s office later identified the victim as 31-year-old Quinton Wagner of Evansville.
There was no word on the official cause of Wagner’s death.
The crash and investigation forced police to block traffic in the area of Stringtown and the Pigeon Creek Greenway for a while Friday morning.
