If you’re dreaming of a white Christmas in Evansville, you’ll have to wait until at least next year. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The National Weather Service is predicting spring-like weather on Christmas Day, with a high around 70.
The only precipitation in the forecast this week is rain, with temperatures forecast to stay above freezing after a cold start Monday morning.
Over the years, Evansville has established about a 13-percent chance of a white Christmas – that’s at least one inch of snow on the ground.
It’s happened about ten times in 76 years.
