EPD: Man Arrested With More Than A Pound of Meth

EPD
Michael Keller, 51

Evansville Police say Michael Keller, 51, is accused of dealing drugs after officers found more than a pound of meth in his car

An Evansville man is in custody after police say officers found more than a pound of meth in his car. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:

EPD Sgt. Anthony Aussieker says officers stopped a motorist on Riverside Drive Tuesday for multiple traffic violations.

During the stop, officers learned the driver, 51-year-old Michael Keller, had a suspended driver’s license.

Police say Keller gave officers permission to search his vehicle and they found more than one pound of methamphetamine, 17 grams of psilocybin -- or psychedelic mushrooms -- and drug paraphernalia.

Officers arrested Keller on preliminary charges of dealing cocaine and meth, possession of paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license.

They took him to the Vanderburgh County jail.
