The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with an organization dedicated to empowering neighbors through kindness and practical support. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The sheriff’s office says the partnership with 4 Good Community will offer deputies access to a specialized supply store.
It’s stocked with what the group calls “essential items to assist residents during patrols and emergency responses.”
Items include school supplies, sports equipment, clothing, and other items donated by members of the community, as well as national and local partners.
Kids 4 Good Centers are open to the public Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only.
More information on the centers -- including how to contribute -- can be found at 4goodcommunity.org/
