The National Weather Service is calling for the coldest temperatures of the season Sunday and Monday.
Forecasters say the Tri-State could even see a little snow Sunday night.
The outlook calls for a potential hard freeze Sunday night into Monday morning, with the mercury dipping into the mid-20’s, with a chance of rain and snow showers.
Little or no snow accumulation is expected.
Sub-freezing temperatures are expected again Monday night, with a warm up starting on Tuesday, Veterans Day.
The average high temperature for this time of year in Evansville is about 60 degrees.
Forecasters say the Tri-State should reach the low 60’s by mid-week.
