The Tri-State has a better chance of seeing the
first frost of the season Friday morning.
WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
The Evansville area did not see frost Thursday morning.
But forecasters are predicting a better chance for frosty conditions early Friday.
The National Weather Service has issued another Frost Advisory, this one in effect from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for most of southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Illinois.
Forecasters say temperatures may dip as low as 34, creating frost that can damage or kill outdoor plants.
They recommend bringing plants inside and/or covering outdoor plants.
Nighttime temperatures are expected to stay well above freezing, starting Saturday.
