Escapee Captured in Henderson County

Police captured Timothy Oliver, 53, one day after he escaped the Henderson County, KY Detention Center

An escapee from the Henderson County jail is back in custody. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

Henderson Police say Timothy Oliver was located in the area of Reed, Kentucky and was safely captured.

Authorities are offering a “huge thank you” to the community for any and all information given to law enforcement.

Kentucky worked around the clock on the case with the help of the Henderson Police Department and the Henderson County Sheriff's Office.

The 53-year-old Oliver has a lengthy criminal record and a history of fleeing police.

He’s now been returned to the Henderson County Detention Center.

Oliver is expected to face new charges of Escape and Probation Violation.
