Coroner Identifies Girl Killed in Bike-Semi Crash

Allison Lowery, 12, of Newburgh died when the bike she was riding collided with a truck at Indiana 66 and Sharon Road

Authorities have released the identity of the girl who died when her bicycle was hit by a semi in Warrick County. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Coroner’s Office identifies the victim as Allison Lowery of Newburgh.

The 12-year-old died when the bike she was riding was hit by a truck at State Road 66 and Sharon Road late Tuesday afternoon.

Warrick County Coroner Alissa Salee-Enright says an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

The Warrick Sherriff’s Office continues to investigate the tragedy.

An Indiana State Police accident reconstruction team assisted in the probe.

There’s no word of any charges in Lowery’s death.
