It’s called the Public Safety Slugfest, a softball game between the “Cuffs and Ladders.”

That’s members of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 73 and Evansville Professional Firefighters Local 357.

The event will include “pitch and catch” with first responders before the game, kids get to run the bases after the game, and autographs will be available.
The game is set for Saturday, September 13th at Bosse Field.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with the first pitch at 7:00 p.m.

Admission is five dollars.

The event will raise money for charities including the Evansville Police Foundation, Evansville Fire Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Evansville, Easter Seals Evansville, and the EVSC Foundation.
