A Princeton man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for downloading child pornography. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Noah Chappell admitted to receiving Child Sexual Abuse Materials through the messenger app Telegram, as well as possessing it on a hard drive.
The Sheriff’s Office says following an investigation, a search of Chappell’s electronic devices uncovered dozens of videos and photographs depicting the sexual abuse of minors.
Police arrested him in June of 2025 and Chappell pleaded guilty to three felony counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
In addition to nine years in the Indiana Department of Corrections, Chappell faces three years on probation and he’ll be required to register as a sex offender for life.
