Man Charged with Arson for June Fire

Evansville Police arrested Brandon Thompson, 28, for the fire at a former manufacturing facility

Authorities have arrested a man in connection with a fire that damaged an Evansville warehouse. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Police arrested 28-year-old Brandon Thompson after a two-month investigation.

Thompson faces charges of Arson and Criminal Trespass for the June 1st fire at 101 North Kentucky Avenue, just north of the Lloyd Expressway.

The Evansville Fire Department says the blaze caused significant damage to the former manufacturing building.

Firefighters said a sprinkler system helped contained the blaze.

Thompson was lodged in the Vanderburgh County Detention Center.
