Alleged Fentanyl Dealer Arrested

VCSO
Andrew Allen Cooper, 37

The Evansville Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force arrested Andrew Allen Cooper, 37, on a felony charge of dealing a "deadly" narcotic

Authorities have arrested an Evansville man accused of dealing fentanyl. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Detectives with the Evansville Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force arrested 37-year-old Andrew Allen Cooper following an investigation that began last month.

They say a search of Cooper’s residence in the 1500 block of Ravenswood Drive found about 25 grams of suspected fentanyl, 24 grams of a suspected cutting agent, and a digital scale.

Detectives say they also recovered more than four-thousand dollars in “suspected drug proceeds.”

Cooper faces a charge of Dealing in a Narcotic, a Level 2 felony.

Sheriff Noah Robinson says the case reflects a continued commitment to aggressively target those who profit from the sale of deadly narcotics like fentanyl.

Robinson says local law enforcement remains “focused on disrupting the local drug trade and protecting the citizens of Vanderburgh County from the dangers of addiction and overdose.”
