Police have arrested two teenagers after an SUV hit a house in Henderson. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Henderson Police say officers were in the 1400 block of Clay St. following a report of a suspicious vehicle early Tuesday morning.
The HPD says police spotted the SUV leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
A few minutes later, a 911 caller at 1 N Julia St reported the SUV had struck their house.
Police say no one was in the SUV when officers arrived at the scene.
There were no injuries were reported inside the house but the residents had to leave the home until it could be deemed safe.
The HPD says officers eventually found the teenage suspects in the Henderson Station Apartments.
Police say the driver was just 15 and faces charges including Wanton Endangerment, Reckless Driving, and driving without a license.
The passenger was just 13 and charged with Wanton Endangerment.
There was no word of any injuries to the two teens.
