Three deceased shooting victims and a fourth in critical condition were found in a house in Haubstadt, Indiana

Autopsies have been scheduled after a triple-homicide in Gibson County Thursday night. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Gibson County Coroner’s Office set the autopsies for Monday.

The office has not yet released the victim’s names.

Sheriff Bruce Vanoven says the three bodies were found inside a home in the 12-thousand block of S. Scottsdale Drive near Haubstadt, after a report of shots fired.

A fourth person described as in “critical condition” was treated at the scene and taken to an area hospital.

Officers also found four more people in the home who had no visible injuries.

Deputies arrested the suspect, 77-year-old Patrick John Waite of Haubstadt, at the home without incident.

A motive for the shooting is not known.

Sheriff Vanoven says deputies took Waite to the Gibson County Jail where he’s being held without bond.

The investigation continues.
