Evansville Police say Klifton Carter, 22, and Jaylen Drone, 21, are accused of the May 13th break-in that led to the shooting death of Mehki Anthony Maxwell

Evansville Police have arrested two suspects after a deadly home invasion earlier this month. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

Police say 22-year-old Klifton Carter and 21-year-old Jaylen Drone are both in custody.

The two face charges of Murder and Burglary after the break-in in the 3000 block of Sweetser Avenue May 13th.

Police say a resident, 22-year old Cameron Thomas, shot and killed one of the three intruders, Mehki Anthony Maxwell.

Cameron was not charged for Maxwell’s death.

Cameron and his brother Christian were later arrested on charges of dealing marijuana.
