A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the Evansville area. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The National Weather Service says the watch is in effect until 8:00 Tuesday evening.
The agency says damaging winds and large hail are the primary concerns, with heavy rain possible.
It’s the start of what forecasters say will be three days of stormy weather.
More showers and thunderstorms are expected Wednesday and Thursday.
The weather service says it can’t rule out severe storms through the period.
Chances for rain begin to diminish on Friday and the weekend is looking sunny and cooler.
