More Severe Storms Possible in Tri-State

NWS Paducah

NWS: The best chance is Tuesday afternoon and evening

Sunny, warm weather is expected to give way to more spring storms this week. WNIN’s John Gibson has a preview:

The National Weather Service says a frontal boundary is moving into the region and is forecast to remain in our area much of the week.

Forecasters say the front will be the focus of showers and storms through Thursday night.

The agency has placed the Tri-State in a Level 2 -- or slight -- risk of severe storms on Tuesday.

The best chance for strong storms will be Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Forecasters are not ruling out severe weather Wednesday and Thursday.

Rain chances are expected to diminish on Friday.
