A man is dead and a suspect is in custody after a homicide in Oakland City. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
Indiana State Police say officers were dispatched to a home in the 300 block of W. Dale Street Thursday afternoon for a “welfare check.”
The ISP says officers found 57-year-old Brad Fiscus deceased inside the home.
A suspect has been detained in what police call an “active investigation.”
The suspect’s identity and possible charges had not been released as of Friday afternoon.
An autopsy was scheduled for Saturday to determine Fiscus’ cause of death.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Oakland City Police assisted state police.
