Forecasters say the risk of severe weather has increased for Sunday. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The National Weather Service has placed the Tri-State in a Level 3 or “enhanced risk” for severe storms.
Forecasters say an “extensive line” of storms is expected to move through the region Sunday afternoon and evening.
They say the primary hazards will be large hail, damaging wind gusts, and a “few tornadoes.”
The weather service says the storms’ predicted arrival time will likely fluctuate between now and Sunday.
