Severe storms are possible again Wednesday in the Tri-State. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The National Weather Service says Evansville faces a level 2 — or slight — risk of severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and night.
Areas south of Evansville face a marginal or level 1 risk.
Forecasters do not expect a widespread severe weather event like the one that hit the region Friday night and Saturday.
The weather service has issued a Wind Advisory for the area today with wind gusts of 35-to-50 miles an hour possible.
Parts of southern Illinois are under a Red Flag Warning due to dry conditions and high winds raising the risk of wildfires.
