A grand jury indicted Bobby Handegard for murder; he and two others were arrested but released in 2015

A grand jury has indicted an Evansville man in connection with a fatal shooting nearly ten years ago. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:

Shane Breedlove was shot to death as he walked along Washington Avenue on the city’s East Side in July 2015.

The 41-year-old Breedlove was on his way to KC’s Timeout Lounge, where he worked as a deejay.

A grand jury on Wednesday indicted 29-year-old Bobby Handegard on a count of murder.

Authorities say Handegard turned himself in and is being held in the Vanderburgh County Detention Center.

Police had arrested Handegard and two other men just weeks after the fatal shooting, but the case against them eventually fell apart and they were released.
