Rivers continue to rise in the Tri-State. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Ohio River at Evansville.
Forecasters say it should crest Sunday at 44 feet – two feet above flood stage.
A number of low-lying roads are already closed.
Authorities say never drive into standing water because it may be deeper than you think and with a dangerous current.
Transportation officials are warning drivers near the Twin Bridges to be alert for deer that may be forced onto Highway 41 by the high water.
