Authorities Identify Victim of Henderson Crash

File

James Swanson, 70, died after Monday's crash on Zion Road; police believe he had a medical issue behind the wheel

Authorities have released the identity of the man who died after a head-on crash in Henderson. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Henderson County Coroner’s Office says 70-year-old James Swanson was pronounced dead after Monday’s crash on Zion Road.

Henderson Police say Swanson’s pickup truck crossed the center line and crashed into a car, injuring two occupants in that vehicle.

The truck then travelled into a nearby yard and hit three parked cars before coming to a stop.

First responders found Swanson unconscious and took him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police believe Swanson had a medical emergency and was incapacitated at the time of the crash.
