Rain/Snow/Ice Possible Next Week

NWS Paducah

NWS: The best chance for wintry weather is north of the Ohio River

Wintry weather may be making a return to the Tri-State next week. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The National Weather Service sees the potential for accumulating snow and/or ice across parts of the area Monday night into Tuesday.

Forecasters say confidence in who receives what they call “impactful wintry precipitation” and how much is still low.

At this point, the predicted rain-snow line is near the Ohio River.

The agency says predictions will likely fluctuate as the event draws closer.

Forecasters say another potential batch of winter weather is possible Wednesday.
