A jury has convicted an Evansville man of murder. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
Jurors found 33-year-old Cade Kirk guilty for the beating death of 44-year-old Corey Fisher.
Fisher died after the attack near the intersection of Heidelbach Avenue and Tennessee Street last June.
Kirk’s sentencing is set of February 26th.
Another man, 36-year-old Charles Miles, is also accused in the attack and is scheduled to stand trial in April.
Police say both men hit Fisher on the head repeatedly.
He later died at a hospital.
