Non-Profit President Faces Theft Charges

Disciples of Christ Ministry

EPD: Dallas Majeski, 60, is accused of embezzling more than $575,00 from Disciples of Christ Ministry

An Evansville man is accused of stealing more than a half-million dollars from a non-profit that operates recovery houses. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

60-year-old Dallas Majewski faces 30 counts of theft for allegedly stealing funds as president of the Disciples of Christ Ministry.

A police affidavit states the non-profit’s board members reported concerns about Majewski last June.

They said he began wearing fancy suits and Rolex watches and driving a Maserati and a Corvette.

EPD detectives served 18 subpoenas and warrants on bank accounts, credit cards and loans connected to the Ministry.

They determined Majewski started a theft scheme in 2020.

The investigation led police to arrest Majewski today (Mon).

He was taken to the Vanderburgh County jail.

Majewski denies any wrongdoing.
