An Evansville man has been flown to an Indianapolis hospital after a fiery crash and heroic work from bystanders in Warrick County. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
The one-vehicle crash occurred on State Road 68 at Lily Pad Road, west of Lynnville, Thursday night.
The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office says before first responders could get there, the vehicle caught fire.

One of the bystanders suffered burns to their hands during the rescue.
An ambulance took the driver, 62-year-old Joseph Snyder, Jr., to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.
Snyder was later flown to Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis with serious burns to his body.
Indiana State Police and the Elberfeld Fire Department also assisted at the crash scene.
