An Evansville police officer has been transferred to a Nashville hospital after suffering serious injuries in an off-duty crash in Warrick County. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
Jordan Rundle was taken to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital with life-threatening injuries after last week’s two-vehicle crash.
Over the weekend, he was transferred to a specialized hospital in Tennessee.
Officer Rundle’s wife, who was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash, was treated and released from a hospital.
The driver of the second vehicle was treated for minor injuries.
EPD Officer Taylor Merriss has expressed gratitude to the trauma center staff at St. Vincent.
She also thanked the Nashville Metro Police Department and Nashville’s Fraternal Order of Police for their support of the Rundle family during their time in Nashville.
Jordan Rundle joined the EPD in July.
