Two Teens Arrested for Tepe Park Murder

Santana Cooper. 16, and Lakai Snaden, 17, face murder charges

Police have arrested two juveniles in connection with the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Emmanuel Young. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

Young was shot to death Tuesday night in Tepe Park off S. Garvin St.

Police say video evidence showed two teens firing guns at Young, and another video showed two people running away from the scene down an alley.

Police say the two people seen in the alley were later identified as 16-year-old Santana Cooper and 17-year-old Lakai Snaden.

Police arrested the two on adult murder charges.

Officers who found Young’s body said he appeared to have been shot multiple times.

An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
